Welcome to the homepage of the EU-funded project:

EU – Pakistan business venture and capacity building seminar for renewable energy companies

This joint project of European and Pakistani partners aims to stimulate mutual business encounters of companies in the field of renewable energies between Pakistan and Europe. It also aims to transfer technical experience in how to build-up and operate renewable energy applications in a successful and sustainable manner.

Project milestones

• Market information about renewable energy technology in Pakistan, like solar PV, solar thermal applications, wind power generation and small hydro plants,
• Capacity building seminars for engineers and technicians in Pakistan,
• Business matchmaking between European and Pakistani companies,
• Stakeholder meetings and project visits in Pakistan.

Duration: 16 month, from April 2007 to July 2008

• EU ASIA INVEST (80%)
• Participating companies (10%)
• Project partners (10%)

A delegation visit of European companies to Pakistan will take place on June 30 - July 4, 2008.

Registration is closed for European and Pakistani companies.

47 Pakistani companies have registered for the Match Making event. Companies that based in Islamabad, Taxila, Rawalpindi, Lahore, Multan, and Peshawar have to attend the event in Islamabad. Companies that based in Karachi have to attend the event there.
